My involvement with basketball has always been connected to the idea of bringing people together through the game. Through UNITY, a basketball exchange program connecting Ivy League players with students in China, I have helped bridge cultures through shared experiences on and off the court. Working as the Head of Translation and Player Relations, I have supported communication between international athletes and local students while helping organize meaningful basketball experiences. Through this program, I have seen how sports can become a common language that allows people to connect despite differences in culture, language, and background. Continuing this work in both 2024 and summer 2026, I hope to expand the program’s impact and create more opportunities for young athletes to learn from one another.
